Summary of Responsibilities
The internal audit and risk manager will assist the company:
1.) to examine, evaluate and improve the effectiveness and adequacy of its risk management, internal financial controls and governance processes
2.) add value through value for money reviews, delivery of high quality advice, facilitation and consultancy services that will help the company run its business operations successfully
Key responsibilities here will include strategy/policy development, audit examinations, quality management and business support (via communication and relationship management).
Skills required include:
 A good understanding of the Food Industry
A strong knowledge of audit procedures, including planning, techniques, test and sampling methods involved in conducting audits   
A good knowledge of computerized accounting and auditing record keeping systems.
An ability to maintain current knowledge of developments related to business matters of interest to internal audit, particularly legislation changes and developments as they affect the Food Industry, and new auditing techniques and practices
Fundamentals of Accounting

Educational Qualifications/Experience:
1) Minimum of a university degree ( a masters degree in Business Administration will be advantageous)
2) Possession of any of the listed professional qualification - ICAN, ACA, CIMA, IIA
3) Previous experience in a multi-site, Food and or Retail environment
4) Minimum of 7 years working experience
