Job Description
A very creative, passionate and intelligent person who can help us meet the challenge of designing web interfaces and applications to support our web development and business strategy. Ideal candidates should have a strong background in HTML, DHTML and CSS with knowledge of Adobe Fireworks, Photoshop, Dreamweaver and Flash.
The candidate will assist in various stages of the web portal development process, from site mock ups and coding to optimization and ongoing Quality Assurance.
The Responsibilities:
Translate clients business objectives into cutting-edge design solutions
Working with design team on website layout, structure and design.
Responsible for the design of various supporting online assets, such as Flash banners, promotional landing pages, email campaigns, newsletters, etc
Be deadline-focused and have excellent organisational and time management skills
The Requirements:
Knowledge of and ability to hand-code HTML, DHTML, and CSS
Familiarity with JavaScript/Jquery
Ability to quickly turn a mockup into valid HTML and CSS
Experience architecting and managing web content
Proficiency in established design tools: Adobe Fireworks, Photoshop, Dreamweaver and Flash
A strong knowledge of current web design and accepted standards.
Understanding of cross-browser compatibility issues and solutions
