Nigeria French Language Village Recruits Director Health Services

The Nigeria French Language Village Is Nigeria’s Inter-university Centre for French studies, established by the Federal Government of Nigeria to cater primarily for undergraduate students of French in tertiary Institutions. It is an autonomous institution operating under’ the ambit of the National Universities Commission (NUC).
Applications are hereby Invited from suitably qualified candidates to fill the under listed positions.
JOB TITLE: DIRECTOR OF HEALTH SERVICES (CONTISS 15)
Academic and Professional Qualification:
- A first degree with honours in Medicine (MBSS or MBChB) from a recognised university.
- Evidence of one year houseman ship
- Evidence of participation in the Youth Service Corps (NYSC) or a certificate of exemption from NYSC.
- Possession of full registration with Medical and Dental Council of Nigeria.
- Fellowship of the West African College of Physicians,
- Medical College or Its equivalence in family medicine, General practice Or
- Postgraduate degree In relevant similar disciplines.
- Working knowledge of French Language is required Candidates must be between 45-50 years old.
BASIC COMPETENCE REQUIREMENT FOR ALL POSITIONS
It is for be noted that for any of the positions above the ideal candidate must be someone with too following relevant skills and competences
- Good team player – able to effectively co-ordinate too activities of a depal1rnent
- Excellent communication skins,
- Good interpersonal relations skills,
- Ability to work with limited supervision,
- Ability to co-ordinate diverse but relevant activities and projects,
- Ability to work under pressure,
- Good presentation and advocacy skills,
- Good internet skills,
- Good knowledge of ICT software e.g. Microsoft office package,
- Proven professional competence and enviable administrative pedigree.
- The candidate must be diligent, forthright but diplomatic,
- Ability to Initiate proactive policies geared at propelling the French Village forward.
EXPERIENCE
A minimum of 15 years cognate experience, preferably in hospital/health centre administration of an educational environment similar to that of a university.
