Trainee Wireline Field Engineers at (WTS) Energy

Job Title: Trainee Wireline Field Engineers (Ref: WTS/GA/001)
Job Objectives
The successful candidates will be members of the Wireline Operations division and as such will be trained in operating wireline and steering tool instruments for basic survey operations.
Responsibilities Specifically, the candidate will:
Maintain wireline units from pre to post job.
Learn how to operate Wireline units and steering tools including hanging sheaves and familiarization with subs and crossovers used in job applications.
Understand the theory of magnetics and magnetic surveying.
Responsible for pre-job preparation of surveying equipment and wireline unit to high quality standards and to ensure pre-job logistics are completed.
Qualification, Experience and Attributes.
Ability to communicate effectively in English.
Some Microsoft Windows experience (general computer awareness/experience)
Bachelor’s degree in Engineering with a minimum of Second Class Upper Division.
1-3 years relevant post degree oil and gas work experience (includes National Youth Services) not compulsory but an added advantage.
