Job Role: Head of Sales – PZ WilmarThe successful candidate will be required:
· To drive the sustainable commercial viability of the products within the SBU.
· To drive the forecasting of future sales volumes to assist with the commercial strategic plan.
· To achieve the agreed profitable sales volume and value targets.
· To enable the Sales Force to maximise sales via delivery of the Sales drivers objectives; Distribution and Rate of sale drivers at retail.
· To ensure the effective journey planned coverage of outlets as specified by trade strategy.
· To be responsible for the development & implementation of the Sales strategy.
· To build the Sales Force capability via embedding coaching as a way of life within the field sales organization.
· To feed into the demand process to optimise the quality, accuracy and clarity of inputs as a critical factor in the wider business sales and operational objectives.
The Person:
The Right candidate must:
§ Have Bachelor Degree in Business Administration-an MBA will be considered a plus
§ Possess 10-14 years commercial expertise gained across Consumer Marketing and / or Customer Management, preferably in food sector.
§ Be a good coach and leader.
§ Have excellent communication skills – written and verbal.
§ Have flexibility and ability to adapt to changing market and business conditions.
§ Possess Commercial acumen and customer focus.
§ Good experience in managing of large, remote teams.
