Job Title: Training Specialist (Packaging)
Job Summary
The Training Specialist (Packaging) who will report to the Packaging Manager will create and sustain a progressive learning environment by providing effective service to the value chain, focused on competence acquisition and perormance.
 
Job Vacancy Duties and Responsibilities
Amongst other duties, the Training Specialist (Packaging)will;
* Coordinate training assessments on packaging teams
* Evaluate the efficiency of training
• Develop and acquire resources and solutions within area of specialisation

* Assist in the development of standard operating procedures (SOP’s)
* Carry out competence assessments
* Deliver shop floor and supervisory training
* Coordinate learning, coaching and development activities for packaging

* Plan and initiate development and learning processes

Job Title: Manufacturing Development Specialist
 
Job Summary
Amongst other duties, the Manufacturing Development Specialist will coordinate all manufacturing activities and influence the implementation of world class manufacturing processes, identifying, co-operating and actively participating in strategic improvement initiatives.
 
Duties and Responsibilities
Amongst other duties, the Manufacturing Development Specialist will;
* Coordinate learning and development activities for technical production in line with best practice
* Implement manufacturing work practices and principles
* Facilitate and co-ordinate the technical selection process
* Provide industrial engineering support
* Train and coach technical staff where the need arises
* Implement the brewery plan to support World Class Manufacturing
* Provide leadership for on going manufacturing development strategies
* Promote knowledge management processes
* Apply value chain and improvement tools

Vacancy Qualifications and skills required
The occupant of this position should possess:
* Minimum of BSc in Mechanical/Electrical/Industrial Engineering
* Membership of relevant professional bodies will be an added advantage
* Minimum of 5 years relevant experience preferably in a fast moving consumer goods (FMCG) environment

Job Title: Project Engineer/Engineering Manager
Job Summary
The Project Engineer/Engineering Manager will coordinate and manage the plant process and system and maintain the manufacturing activities to influence the implementation of world class manufacturing, identifying co-operating and activity participating in strategic improvement initiatives
 
Vacancy Duties and Responsibilities
 
Amongst other duties, the Project Engineer/Engineering Manager will;
* Manage plant process and systems
* Coordinate/manage the overall plant maintenance budget
* Develop/implement the Asset Care Strategy
* Manage productivity
* Ensure compliance to good engineering standards and best practices
* Manage contractors
* Evaluate suppliers and define costs
* Lead project teams
* Project management on larger CAPIN/CAPEX
* Optimize maintenance reliability, availability and cost
* Optimize engineering spares stock holding
* Scope and define projects
* Manage acceptance tests and handover processes

Vacancy Qualifications and skills required
The occupant of this position should possess:
* Deep prior experience in a senior maintenance management role
* Minimum of BSc in Mechanical, Electrical or Industrial Engineering
• In depth understanding of world class manufacturing, asset care & CMMS
 
Key Competencies and Attributes
* Practical knowledge of manufacturing development programme
* Deep technical knowledge of a brewery
* Attention to details
* Ability to work effectively in a team environment
* Demonstrate high initiative, be independent and proactive
