NESTLE Nigeria Plc has taken entrepreneurship skill to the students of
the University of Ibadan with a view to providing part time jobs.
The donation of a garden to the univserity is to take the product nearer to the students,
develop their entrepreneurship ability and prepare a training ground
for the students to enable them become entrepreneurs even when they are
still in school.
Students could visit the garden before their lectures, relax with a
cup of Nescafe, read and do their academic work before or after their
lectures. He added that Nestle was doing this so that the brand would be
taken to targeted audience, saying that students do not have to leave
the campus before getting the product.
“The more the students know the brand, the more they are used to it.
The relaxation is going to be permanent as it will be handed over to the
Faculty of Arts of the institution.
