The West African Examinations Council (WAEC) on Friday released the results of the May/June 2012 West African Senior School Certificate Examination (WASSCE).A total of 1, 695, 878 candidates, consisting of 923, 974 male and 748, 250 female candidates sat for the May/June 2012 WASSCE.Out of the overall number of candidates, 1, 545, 004 candidates,
representing 91.10% had their results fully released, while 150, 874
candidates, representing 8.90% had a few subjects still being processed
due to some errors mainly traceable to the candidates and schools in the
course of registration or writing the examination.
