Position: SAFETY,HEALTH & ENVIRONMENT OFFICER
Department: TECHNICAL & PRODUCTION
Job Details: Supports and advise the Factory Management team in all aspects of Safety, Health & Environment (SHE) with a strong focus on implementing factory - level initiatives leading to continuous improvement in SHE performance in line with International standards.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
Co-ordinate the development and implementation of the Factory's SHE strategy & program.
Align factory SHE objectives with corporate objectives.
Ensure adherence to all company principles, policies and all SHE related legal requirements.
Develop and sustain a local network with all regulatory authorities.
Champion the Plant's SHE risk assessment program, incident investigation, corrective action and auditing.
PROFILE
BSc degree or HND in any Engineering or Science discipline (Minimum of Second Class lower or Lower Credit Grade)
Professional qualification in either Operational H&S or Environment Management will be an added advantage.
At least 2-5 years relevant experience in a manufacturing company.
Very Good knowledge of national / state / local legislation & industry codes.
Good Data Analysis and Reporting Skills.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
Ability to develop excellent working relationships with internal/external stakeholders.
Excellent interpersonal skills and ability to work with diverse people and culture.
High Proficiency in Microsoft Office Tools- Ms Excel, Ms Word, Ms Powerpoint
