Applications are invited from suitably qualified candidates for admission into the Diploma
Programme in Physical and Health Education of Lagos State University.
ENTRY REQUIREMENTS AS APPROVED BY THE UNIVERSITY SENATE:
Candidates must have obtained one or more in any of the following qualifications:
(i) SSCE/NECO/GCE with at least three (3) credit passes at O/level with a pass in English
Language;
(ii) Grade II Teachers Certificate with at least three (3) merit passes, one of which must be
Physical and Health Education;
(iii) Mature candidates/elite athletes who can benefit from the programme could also apply
(not more than 35 years old).
MODE OF ENTRY:
Candidates are to pay application fees of four thousand naira (N4,000.00) into Lagos State
University Account No.: 1311770002706, at Skye Bank (LASU Branch) and collect Teller
and form, from the same Bank. Two (2) days later, applicants should collect receipt from the
Revenue Unit, Bursary, LASU, Ojo Campus, submit receipt, with completed application forms, at the
Department of Physical and Health Education, LASU, Ojo Campus on OR before Friday, 18th
March, 2011.
INTERVIEW:
Qualifying interview will be held on Thursday, 14th April, 2011. Applicants are to report at the
Department of Physical and Health Education on the interview day by 8.00 a.m. with credentials,
writing materials and sports wears.
