The Network Administrator is responsible for resolution of PC and network related issues and the planning, implementation and documentation of PC and network related projects. Responsibilities include the repair and replacement of PC and Network components as needed.
Job Responsibilities:
- Install, manage and maintain all LAN/VPN/VOIP systems
- Recommend and schedule repairs
- Provide end user support for all LAN/VPN/VOIP based applications
- Perform a variety of complicated tasks
- Develop and maintain disaster recovery plans and systems backups
- May lead and direct the work of others for VPN based project and remedial troubleshooting
- Must report all Network and Information System policy exceptions
- Other duties as assigned

Job Requirements :
Physical/Mental Requirements
- Requires comprehension/interpretation of written and verbal instruction.
- Requires telephone contact, repetitive arm/hand motion, prolonged periods of sitting/standing.
- Requires negotiation and problem solving skills. Must have the ability to work under pressure, ability and willingness to work with a variety of individuals and be a team player, a self-starter and work independently.
- Requires movement/lifting of heavy items (ability to lift fifty pounds), manual dexterity, eye/hand coordination.
- Requires ability to travel and work overtime when necessary.
Education and Skills Required
- Must have a University degree or equivalent. Requires minimum of three years
- LAN management,VPN and WAN based systems support and minimum five years PC Help Desk Support experience. Must be proficient at all phases of project management (research, justification, planning, implementation and documentation).
- Requires functional knowledge of MS Office Suite of products, LAN/WAN systems, multiple Network Operating systems and the a very popular Lifecycle management software.
- Requires appropriate certifications (e.g. CNE, MCSE, CCNA, ACA-avaya certified associate, ITIL Foundation etc.) or equivalent experience.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, problem solving, analytical, organizational and interpersonal skills.
Normal Work Schedule
8:00 a.m. – 6:00 p.m. M-F, half-day on Sat, Unscheduled overtime is required. Requires travel.
