All visa applicants aged 6 years and older must appear in person at the VFS Visa Application Centres in Abuja or to lodge their visa applications. Fingerprints will be recorded during the application process. How To Apply

Applicants are requested to read the following steps carefully before submitting their application at the Ireland Visa Application Centre Lagos or Abuja.

• Step 1: Complete the online visa application form and take a print out of the completed form, and also fill up the additional questionnaire which is available here.
  
  Please note: It is mandatory to submit a fully filled questionnaire with every application
  
  
• Step 2: Pay your visa application fee, services fee and bank fee at the bank teller counter at the Visa Application Centers.
  
  
• Step 3: Submit your application form with supporting documents & photocopies of the same and have your fingerprints taken (all persons aged 6 years and over) documents

Basic Requirements:

To ensure your application is processed without any delay, please include the following:

For short stay visa application

• Complete, signed & printed on line visa application Form and one set of photocopy of online printed form
• Original Passport valid for 6 months and one set of photocopies of all the pages of passport(s)
• One set of original documents and one set of the photocopies of the original documents as per the relevant checklist.
• Two recent photograph
• A3 size Prepaid reputable courier service return envelope

For Long stay visa application

• Complete, signed & printed on line visa application Form and two sets of photocopies of online printed form
• Original Passport valid for 12 months
• Two set of photocopies of all the pages of passport(s)
• 1 set of Original & 02 sets of Photocopies of documents as per the relevant checklist
• Two recent photographs.
• A3 size Prepaid reputable courier service return envelope

Apart form the basic documents, applicants are requested to submit the requisite documents for the visa category applying for, together with your visa application. Please make sure that you have all the documents indicated in the list, since no visa application would be accepted if one or several documents are missing.
